Job title: Cleaner –Commercial Properties

Seniority: Entry-Level to Experienced

Location: Hearst,ON

Hours: Part-Time

Schedule: Monday - Friday (after 5 pm any time)

Weekly hours: 5 hours

Pay rate: $17.20 per hour

Job responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
• Empty trash and recycling bins and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
• Replenish supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and carpet cleaners.
• Follow safety protocols and use appropriate cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Report any maintenance issues or damages to supervisors.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good condition.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleaning standards.
• Good physical condition, able to lift and move heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends.
• Reliable transportation to and from work sites.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
